Nebula Trinket Dish

This ceramic trinket dish depicts a view inside a cloud of cosmic gas and dust, or nebula, where stars are formed. The trails of small, newly developed stars are visible streaking through the scene. 

The hand-drawn sketch used in this design was created by astrovisualization artist Carter Emmart, the Museum's director of astrovisualization, for the 2009 Hayden Planetarium Space Show, Journey to the Stars.

Trinket dish measures 4" wide. Hand-washing is recommended. Other product depicting Carter Emmart designs is also available.
