White fossilized Ammonite on iron frame stand. This is a beautiful natural fossil Ammonite from Madagascar. It measures approximately 2 inches wide and, with stand, 5 inches tall.
Ammonites are extinct cephalopods related to modern squid and octopus. They had spiral shells and tentacles.They first appeared about 240 million years ago and disappeared about 65 million years ago.
