Helenite is a gemstone created from the volcanic rock of Mt. St. Helens' May 18, 1980 eruption. The stone was discovered when workers used acetylene torches to recover buried equipment. Volcanic material traveled from 10-20 miles underground, after which it was fused under high pressure at 2700°F in the US. Helenite's Forest Green color comes from naturally-occurring iron. Swiss Blue gets its color from cobalt, Ruby Red from gold, and Twilight lavender from manganese.

TK Co uses only 925 Sterling Sterling Silver in our Silver collection. Created to be hypoallergenic and resistant to corrosion, this silver consists of 92.5% Silver and 7.5% Zinc for increased strength. We specifically avoid using cheaper alloys which use Nickel (a common skin irritant) and Lead (which can cause neurological damage if swallowed by children). Our 925 Sterling Silver is designed to last and can be sized for any reason by local jewelers long after purchase.
