Natural rewards are meant to be used to reinforce positive behavior and give a little pat on the back *AFTER* your child has been caught being awesome!
As tempting as it can be to “dangle the carrot” and use rewards to get your child to complete a task or behave in a certain way, natural rewards are (usually) not meant to be used as an incentive to get your child to do something. When used in conjunction with a few encouraging words…your child will feel absolutely great inside!
