These handcrafted earrings feature gem-quality Baltic amber that comes directly from Poland and Lithuania. Baltic amber is the fossilized resin or sap from extinct prehistoric coniferous pine trees which formed a huge forest at the present location of the Baltic Sea. Because it is genuine amber it may include an elegant array of inclusions such as bits of moss, flowers, or insects.
