Ashanti Fertility Doll

This wooden fertility doll is carved in Ghana by the Ashanti tribe. The doll represents an image of beauty and is used by recently-married women who want to conceive as a sign of fertility. It continues to be used during the pregnancy to ensure a healthy and beautiful baby.
